Whatever your personal health goals, you can use our biomarker health checks to make sure your body is getting enough of what it needs, helping you to reach your personal best. We test over 70 essential biomarkers that impact your health, well-being, and performance. Examples include Baseline Health Checks, Female Hormones, Female Fitness, and Vitamin Deficiencies.

Samples require a small blood sample and results take 2 to 3 days. All our laboratory biomarkers are reviewed by a GP or a nurse, who provide guidance for clients with results outside the normal range.

Baseline Health Check (Cost £155)

The Baseline Health Check is a simple test that provides insights into some of the most essential health markers. The laboratory test identifies 25 biomarkers that provide an insight into your liver and kidney function, haemoglobin and iron levels, cholesterol, red and white blood cell count, testosterone, vitamins B12 and D, and triglycerides. The sample requires a simple finger-prick and the results, which are reviewed by a doctor or a nurse, are available within a few days.

Advanced Health Check (Cost £229)

In addition to the 25 biomarkers that constitute the Baseline Health check, the Advanced Health Check adds another 15 to include creatine testing to measure energy levels, HDL:LDL ratio to indicate cholesterol health, thyroid activity, diabetes, alongside urea and uric acid levels which monitor liver and kidney function.  Samples require a small blood sample and results take 2 to 3 days. All laboratory biomarkers are reviewed by a GP or a nurse, who provide guidance for clients with results outside the normal range.

Ultimate Health Check (Cost £439)

The Ultimate Health Check checks an impressive 47 biomarkers. Five biomarkers are included to measure thyroid function. Red and white blood cell counts, alongside Vitamin B12, ferritin, and haemoglobin, highlight any issues with the oxygen-carrying capacity of your blood. Creatine and creatine kinase biomarkers reflect the energy status of the muscles, whilst tests for vitamins A, B12, D and E, highlight nutrient deficiences. Nine sex hormones are analysed, plus tests to check your liver, heart, and kidney functions. Rest reassured, any levels outside the norm are always reviewed and fed back by a GP or nurse.

Menopause Health (Cost £159)

Our menopause test kit is a good health check-up if you have reached menopause or are post-menopause.  It checks key areas of your health such as your heart and bones, as well as hormones that could be affecting your mood, sleep and energy.

7 of the 20 biomarkers tested in our Menopause Health Check, are sex hormones oestrogen, progesterone, prolactin, FSH, LH, prolactin, androgen index, and testosterone. The results will highlight any hormone deficiencies that could be replaced. Calcium, magnesium, and Vitamin D are tested to measure bone health, alongside HDL:LDL ratio to check cholesterol. Thyroid activity is tested as it plays an important role in controlling your metabolic rate, and alkaline phosphatase to check liver function. For women going through the menopause or are post-menopausal, this test not only checks sex hormone levels, it provides a snapshot of biomarkers that reflect important health issues commonly associated with premenopause, perimenopause and post menopausal women.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) (Cost £149)

If you’re experiencing symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), our PCOS blood test can help you get the answers you need. This comprehensive test checks your testosterone levels and other markers of potential underlying causes, as well as your risk for developing heart disease and type-2 diabetes. Testosterone is an androgen so whilst it stimulates growth on certain parts of the body, it inhibits hair growth on the head. 

The test includes 15 biomarkers to include all the sex hormones, hbA1c  to check sugar levels and diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid activity, and cortisol to measure response to stress.

Samples require a small blood sample and results take 2 to 3 days. All laboratory biomarkers are reviewed by a GP or a nurse, who provide guidance for clients with results outside the normal range.

Symptoms of PCOS include:

  • Irregular periods
  • No periods at all

Female Fitness (Cost £129)

Our Female Fitness blood test is ideal for those taking part in regular, intensive exercise whether for recreation or as a professional athlete. This test will help identify areas that could be causing poor sports performance, such as slow recovery times, low energy, or muscle injuries. It measures key hormones and nutrition. 15 biomarkers include Vitamin B12, ferritin, haemoglobin, and red blood cell count to measure the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood. In addition, it’s tested for cortisol which could indicate a poor response to stress, and sex hormones. Finally, hCRP, a biomarker for increased risk of cardiovascular disease. We can also offer bespoke Female Fitness tests for endurance, triathletes, cyclists, and runners.

NutriCheck(Cost £149)

If you’re wanting to check your diet is supporting your overall health, our vitamin deficiency test can help. By checking key nutrients like iron, calcium, vitamin D, B12 and magnesium, along with other health markers, we can give you a better understanding of whether or not your diet is providing everything your body needs. In addition to mineral and vitamin deficiencies, a total of 14 biomarkers will also check your blood cholesterol, haemoglobin, hbA1c (diabetes), and red and white blood cell count.

Female Hormone Imbalance (Cost £129)

This single-day test gives a simple snapshot of your key female hormones along with thyroid function. Eleven biomarkers include the sex hormones oestrogen, progesterone, follicle stimulating hormone, luteinising hormone, prolactin and testosterone, alongside three biomarkers to gauge thyroid activity. Samples require a small blood sample and results take 2 to 3 days. All laboratory biomarkers are reviewed by a GP or a nurse, who provide guidance for clients with results outside the normal range.

Tiredness and Fatigue Test (Cost £125)

Are you feeling tired all the time, low on energy, or fatigued? Our test is a great place to start. It checks your thyroid, along with vitamin D, vitamin B12, and ferritin which all play a role in energy production. Biomarkers include Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) and thyroxine, which control your metabolic rate. A thyroid condition, or deficiency in these vitamins can leave you feeling tired or fatigued. Samples require a small blood sample and results take 2 to 3 days. All laboratory biomarkers are reviewed by a GP or a nurse, who provide guidance for clients with results outside the normal range.
